Our family has made its home on the edge of the Northeast Kingdom in Vermont for the past 23 years (with a temporary sojourn to the desert Southwest). While my wife, Sally, has held down the fort in Cabot, during much of that time I have also maintained residences in Phoenix and New York City which not only spans the country geographically but politically as well!
Our three children – Ellen, Annie and Nick – all graduated from Cabot School which is our local high school with graduating classes that range from 15-25 students each year. Ellen has graduated from Hamilton College and recently earned a masters degree in quilt studies at the University of Nebraska. She and a friend have launched an indie fabric design house, The Printed Bolt, and are hosting an online fabric design competition – REPEAT. Ellen recently moved to the Cleveland area and began work as the sales and marketing manager forOriginal Sewing and Quilt Expo.
Annie graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and has been working for a public health non-profit in Boston for the past two years. She has just completed a move to Baltimore and is beginning a masters program in public health at Johns Hopkins.
Nick is beginning his senior year at Skidmore College where he is a history major and a studio art minor. Nick just finished a summer with KickIt 3v3 helping to run soccer tournaments around the United States.
